French doors or patio doors create the perfect link between garden and home. And when it's time to close them, the security features of Settanta ensure your home is truly protected.

Settanta doors have passed the following stringent tests:

• PAS 23-1 1999: general performance requirements for doors assemblies
• PAS 24-1 1999: enhanced security performance requirements for door assemblies.

Door bolts

When the door is closed, a simple turn of the handle upwards deploys heavy metal shoot bolts into the frame of the door at both the top and the bottom.

Entry guard

The entry guard system allows the user to open the door to the outside world secure in the knowledge that the door cannot be forced. A simple twist of the thumb latch allows the door to be opened enough to see outside, yet is held firmly in place by a stainless steel bar. To open, ensure the door is fully closed, twist the thumb latch back and the door is free to be opened.

Hook locks

Hook locks made from strong, corrosion resistant steel, grip the door frame with a turn of the handle, further ensuring that the door stays shut until it needs to be opened.

Settanta doors come fitted with at least two hook locks as standard – more can be fitted upon request for ultimate intrusion prevention.

Low threshold (and wheelchair ramps)

Settanta doors have the option of being fitted with a low threshold.

Wheelchair ramps can also be fitted to make access as easy as possible.
